La Grave: Every freerider needs to have been here at least once in his life. The steep northern runs with their gigantic vertical metres make La Grave one of the best freeride spots in the Alps and beyond.

The Guides Andi and Björn share their collective freeriding experiences focusing on skiing style & safety off piste. Two days spent learning about the dangers, LVS beeps, avalanches, warning signs, studying lines, route finding, discussing group dynamics, Blizzard equipment test and of course, as much freeriding as possible with Björn showing some tricks!

Since 1993 Snowlegend has offered snowboard, ski and telemark classes in La Meije-La Grave. Don't try to compare this resort to any other, it's in a class of its own. In remote corner of the Hautes Alpes Oisans, it is the largest mountain group in the Alps. La Meije may not be the highest peak, but it has one of the longest vertical drops in the world!  Two lifts take you up to 3650 meters from where the number of possible descents makes La Grave probably the largest off-piste site in Europe!

Chamonix is one of the most popular domiciles of the so-called „Ski-Bums“ who are enthusiastic skiers working all summer long in order to completely give in to their passion in winter. Apart from spectacular glaciers, steep couloirs and impressive northern scarps are to be found around the famous mountaineering village at the foot of the Mont Blanc. During our freeride week you will experience a varied mixture ranging from „off-piste“-descents with up to 5000 feet difference in altitude.

The place: The Skiers Lodge in La Grave is perfectly positioned for the biggest lift accessed off piste skiing in the world with 2150 vertical metros (7.050+feet) of freeriding terrain to enjoy.
