Our Northern Experience Skitouring week way above the polar circle in Norway will offer you some of the finest skitouring in Europe. All our targets are located in the provinz of Troms, with the largest most northern city in the world, Tromso. Very close to the charming city the mountains reach already hights above 1500 Meters. Of couse in April skiing down to Zero is always possible. 

White and Blue – the cut between snow and water, between the high mountains and the open blue sea. This is where you want to be – on the summit – have it all at once! Take in the view which makes you feel on top of the world surrounded by the everlasting open sea. And then turn your skis and go down – go skiing until you meet the smell of the salty water!

This expedition from Aventuras Patagonicas & Lineupexplorers take you skiing in one of the least explored areas of the globe: the Northern Patagonia Icefield. It is the northern most of the two Patagonian Icefields. Our trip begins with a lake crossing by boat, then pack horses take our gear to the snowline of the Nef Glacier. From here, we climb up to the Icefield, surrounded by hundreds of Patagonian peaks and ski to the base of Cerro San Valentin, the highest mountain in Patagonia!
