Alentejo & North Algarve - North Algarve surf or Alentejo surf can be characterized as strong but also weak. It really depends on the time you spend your surf travel. Surfing Alentejo is best from late September till March/April. Surfing North Algarve during this periode is only possible with fullsuit. Best swell window to surf Alentejo is in Januar and February. Surf North Algarve with waves around 5-6ft. Before you plan your surf trips please check the surf report Alentejo first. If you go the right time you can enjoy a lot of different breaks, rights and lefts, beach breaks, reef and rock breaks and a few sand-bars.
