During summer surfing Oaxaca is comfortable with boardshort due to water temperatures around 85°F. Summer is also tourist time so it can be crowded at some spots. Autum and especially spring are really good periods to surf in Oaxaca. So a good advise is to plan a surf travel in spring and explore the coastline.
