This year we proudly present our new highclass boat Moon Palikir. It´s a big fiberglass vessel for 12 Pax. Probably the best bet for your surf trip on the Mentawaiis! Our partnership with SumberTecnik, one of the largest companies specializing in mechanical systems for vessels in general, ensure the maintenance and security of our equipment.

On the south, close to Galle, we have found a fantastic spot. Directly in front of our small hotel is a world class wave. On smaller days this can be taken on by inexperienced surfers. Just 10 minutes away, for beginners and advanced, there is a bay with the best waves for learning that we have ever seen anywhere, an absolute dream!

“Samudra Biru” means “Blue Ocean” and is one of the nicest catamarans operating in the Mentawai Islands. With its hyperlight design and a draft of only 3 feet, powered by twin 420hp Cummins diesel engines, it´s one of the fastest surf charter vessels plying these wave-rich waters. She has a top speed of 15 knots with an average daytime cruising speed of 10-12 knots depending on conditions & a nighttime cruising speed of 8-10 knots.
